Per capita connects Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregations and mid councils with the work of the wider church. Per capita is how Presbyterians mutually and equitably share the costs of moving the church forward in the 21st century.
The work of the PC(USA), and in particular the work of the General Assembly, is only possible because members of the church have said they are “all in” and committed to connection through per capita support. It is about joining together as a community and being one body, the body that is Christ’s church in the world.
A new 7-week Moving with the Spirit series began on January 20th and will run through Tuesday, March 10th. There will be no class on February 10th.
The group is led by Karen ML Barsy, MA, R-DMT (Dance Movement Therapist). We will be combining centering and balance exercises, gentle movement, guided imagery, and breathing prayers to enhance our own spirituality while sharing in fellowship and the Joy of God. Wear clothes that are comfortable and be ready to move at your own level of ability. Please come and join the group at 10:30am in room 11 or sign-in via Google Meet. The link can be found on the calendar on the website or by asking Karen. 734-765-2356. Cost for the class is $35 for the series or $5/week. We can’t wait to get moving together powered by the spirit of God! All are welcome! Ask Karen any questions you might have about the class. She is eager to start moving with you!
